Claude Akins was best
known for his TV roles including Sheriff Lobo, Moving
On, and guest appearances on several shows like B.J. and
the Bear, the Twilight Zone, Bonanza, the Adventures of
Superman, the Rifleman, etc. Some people may not
know but behind the mask of one the apes, Gen. Aldo,
on the "Battle of the Planet of the Apes" was Claude
Akins. Roddy McDowall wasn't the only famous ape.
