Nicolas Cage (born January 7, 1964)
is an Academy Award-winning American actor. He has also
worked as a director and producer, through his
production company Saturn Films. As of 2007, Cage
has been nominated twice for an Academy Award as Best
Actor in a Leading Role, winning the award for his
performance in Leaving Las Vegas. Cage a big superhero
fan almost got the part of
Superman and even got paid for it before the project
got stalled. He is such a big fan he named his newborn
kid, Kal-El, Superman's Kryptonian name. It doesn't get
any more devoted than that. His Cage did finally
make it to the big screen as a superhero when he starred
as the motorcycle riding Ghost Rider where he seemed to
be mingling his other great interest in life
Elvis Presley. Cage was born Nicholas Kim
Coppola, but changed his last name to Cage after a
Marvel
Comics superhero named Cage also known as Power Man. |
